There is going to be another igloo contest coming this month. It will begin on May 23rd. There will also be a new furniture catalog coming that day which might be medieval themed.
Winners of the contest are going to receive 10,000 coins and be mentioned in the newspaper.
Here is another sneak peek of the Medieval party coming on May 16th that has not yet been released on the Club Penguin Blog.
What room do the think the picture is of? It might be the Pizza Parlor because of the pizza on the table.

The party will be based on medieval times and it comes on on May 16th. It also turns out that the Switchbox 3000 (which is seen in most stage themes) will be used for the party.

And there is going to be another new feature coming to Club Penguin soon that has to do with player cards, here is what Billybob had to say about it:
A lot of you have mentioned that it’s really hard to find the item you’re looking for in your inventory and it can take a long time. It can get confusing too, especially for those of you with a lot of items!I wanted to let you know that the player card inventory is being improved at this very moment! When the new features launch at the end of May, all of your clothing and accessories will be better organized and really easy to find. The team has been working really hard on a new design for the inventory–a lot of you have suggested grouping items and making separate tabs for them and I think you’ll be happy with how it turns out!
The new clothing catalog is out, it is pretty cool. The catalog is medieval times based.
First off I would like to mention that there is a secret message hidden in the catalog, to see it go to the last page and drag down the box that says “How do I get coins?”. You will then see an icon of a note, when you click it you get this message:
So that probably means that there will be a medieval times party for this month.

Club Penguin has now added the button that will make the game smaller when you click it. It is located in the tool bar to the left of the log out button.
The new newspaper is out, it talks about Rockhopper allowing access to the captain’s quarters and the new game in that room. Rockhopper will be leaving May 5th and that there will be another writing contest.

Billybob has mentioned that there will soon be a button added to play.clubpenguin.com which will allow you to play with the small screen again.
He also said that we will receive our item for C.P.I.P. sometime in May.
Club Penguin’s new modification to their site now allows you to play the game bigger. You can adjust the size of the flash by changing the size of your internet browser.
Comment on what you think of this update, personally I do not like it. I used to play on the regular sized game so this will take a lot of getting used to. I also noticed that changing the size of your browser doesn’t even work with some internet browsers. It is also an inconvenience to have to keep changing the size of your browser just to play Club Penguin or if you have multiple tabs open and want to switch to a differnt site while playing.
Rockhopper’s key is at the Book Room in his journal on the very last page:
You can use it to get in to the Captain’s Quarters on his ship. There is even a new game in there called Treasure Hunt where you work with a partner to find as much buried treasure in the game board as possible before you run out of shovels. Player 1 chooses which rows are dug and player 2 chooses which columns are dug. Finding a coin will award you 1 coin, finding a gem will award you 25 coins, and if you find an emerald you will be awarded 100 coins. You can find out where objects are by looking for a shine in the sand.
There is also another room that is the Crow’s Nest which is the very top of the ship that is used as a lookout point. You can get to it by clicking on the arrow show in the picture below.
